IMPORTANT 2026 REGISTRATION INFORMATION - PLEASE READ, THEN SCROLL DOWN TO REGISTER.
- Mite Cheerleaders in grade 2 are NOT eligible from competition and will be placed on a Sideline Only Team
- Mite and Peewee Cheerleaders in grades 3-6 will have the option to be on a Sideline Only Team or a Sideline Competition Team
- NEW FOR 2026 - All Midget Cheerleaders (grade 7 & 8) will compete. There will be NO Sideline Only option for grades 7&8. Choose “Competition” when registering - do not choose “Sideline”.
- All cheerleaders will cheer at football games

2026 SEASON INFORMATION
Practices
● Pre-season practices (all teams):
- Tues, Wed, Thurs starting August 11th. Times and location TBD.
● In-season practices (once games start):
- Sideline Practice: 1 day per week. Day, time, and location TBD by coaches.
- Competition Practice: 2 days per week, with the possibility of extra practices during competition weeks.
- Days, times, and location TBD.
● Transportation to all practices is the responsibility of parents/guardians
Games
● Teams will cheer a total of 10 weekly games per season - 8 regular season games (home and away), 1 playoff, and 1 Superbowl.
● Our first games will be the weekend of September 12th/13th. Day, time, location TBA.
● Teams will meet for mandatory practice prior to game time. Exact meet time TBD by coaches.
● Game schedules will be emailed/posted when they are finalized by the Old Colony Youth Football League.
● Transportation to all games is the responsibility of parents/guardians
Competitions
● Competition teams will attend 4 local competitions (see dates above). All competitions are mandatory.
● Competition teams will attend 2 days of mandatory routine choreography (see dates above)
● Competition teams will practice 2 days per week, beginning after choreography.
- Teams may add additional practices as we get closer to competitions.
- Teams may also practice the Fridays before each competition.
● Practice days, times, locations TBD and are dependent on gym and mat availability.
● Competition Fee $200. Fundraising will be available to cover this fee.
Uniforms
● All cheerleaders will receive a uniform top, uniform skirt, pom poms, program tshirt, and 2 game bows for the season.
● Uniform handout date, time and location TBD.
Uniform Accessories and Estimated Costs
Required:
● Black spandex short for under uniforms - cost varies depending on brand
● Black ankle length leggings for cold weather - cost varies depending on brand
● Cheer sneakers - approx $50-$75. More info TBA.
● Warm up jacket - approx $60. Orders taken in August. More info TBA.
Optional:
● SciCoh game day backpack - cost TBD.
Fundraising
- All cheerleaders will be required to participate in all SciCoh program fundraisers.
Community Service
- Cheerleaders are expected to participate in Community Service events when possible.
- Community Service events TBD

2026 SciCoh Cheer
Open to all Scituate and Cohasset residents entering grades 2-8 in September 2026.
Registration Fee - $325
Sibling Discount
We will not have a family cap this year, but we will offer discounted registration for additional siblings (10% off the registration for a 2nd child, 20% off the registration for a 3rd child, and 30% off the registration for a 4th child, etc. all based on age).
Codes for the sibling discounts are as follows:
Code 2NDSIBLING to receive 10% off 2nd registration
Code 3RDSIBLING to receive 20% off 3rd registration
Code 4THSIBLING to receive 30% off 4th registration
Payment Plan:
$125 deposit due when signing up
$100 due May 1st
$100 due June 1st
*Registration must be paid in full to receive uniforms. A valid form of payment must be on file for the payment plan. Any returned payment(s) will incur a $30 service fee.
Additional Fees
UCA Cheer Camp (all cheerleaders strongly encouraged to attend) - $150 due in July.
Competition Fee (competition teams only) - $200 due in September. *fundraising will be available to help cover competition fees*
